For more information see www.boomkamp.com
In a green area, with a total surface area of 50,000 m2, you can find everything you wish, including the largest Garden and Ideas Park of Overijssel. This park includes an English garden centre, garden design studio, garden company, mini farmer’s golf, boule track, clog shop annex clog museum, restaurant and of course the internationally renowned 55 visitor’s gardens.
Visitor’s gardens
The
visitor’s gardens, both the model and thematic gardens, were designed
by an own team of creative garden designers, who applied historical
elements as well as modern trends in a professional way. The gardens
have many opportunities to sit and are accessible for wheelchairs.
Thematic gardens
The
thematic gardens are extensive gardens, such as the water garden with
ponds, Koi carps, waterfalls and bridges of the Victorian garden in
English style, completely with a beautifully arranged English sun lounge
and formal planting and unadorned ponds.
The wood garden
The
wood garden with many types of Hostas and an authentic revolving wooden
summer house is certainly worth a visit. Many gardens have been
designed for visitors who have a small garden at home. They all have a
different atmosphere and style and an eye for detail. Over 50 garden
designs are available for visitors, as well as the required materials,
ornaments and plants that you can find in gardens.
The adjoining large English garden centre is arranged conveniently and you can find many green things there, from special plants to authentic ornaments.
Restaurant
The
attractive restaurant is arranged in an English ambiance and has a
large terrace with a view on the gardens. Visitors of Boomkamp can also enjoy a
luxury garden and a decoration shop with a garden book department and
exclusive home and garden decorations. Boomkamp also has the oldest
still operating clog shop of the Netherlands. Upon request you can enjoy a demonstration of clog making by our clog maker Roesink.
